Gust Family and Teacher Association

Gust Family and Teacher Association (GFTA)

     Gust has an active parent-teacher partnership represented and promoted through the school’s GFTA. This parent-teacher group meets monthly to plan, discuss, and implement fundraisers, school-wide, family, and evening events, as well as teacher recognition and overall community outreach and involvement. The GFTA has already begun a staff recognition effort that will also promote school community. GFTA is ordering Gust sweatshirts for each of the staff members to wear proudly each Friday in support of school culture and community. Additionally, GFTA has sponsored a fundraiser that was kicked-off on October 21 ending November 7. The Holiday Gift Catalog fundraiser will fund the yearly GFTA event where students are provided free books for their personal reading and keeping. Please include future GFTA meetings in your calendar and plan on joining the organization and make a direct impact on the wonderful Gust community.
