As students finish up the school year look for their last and final pieces of artwork to come home! 5th graders will be finishing the year by creating clay alebrijes. 4th graders will be finishing up their personal maps. 3rd graders finished their Ojo de Dios and will be creating treasure boxes. 2nd graders finished their hero portraits and will be making a still life drawing. 1st graders finished up their unit on monsters and they will be making puppets. Kindergarteners are continuing to learn about surrealism and will be creating clay birds. ECE students finished their Pet books and will be making art about caterpillars and butterflies.

 

Lastly, congratulations to the following students who were selected for the annual Citywide Elementary Art Show at the History Colorado Museum. You can view their artwork on the 4th floor from now until May 13th.
