Hola! Yo soy la maestra Tejeda de primer grado en español. He estado en la escuela Gust por más de 20 años en posiciones de para profesional, maestra de primer y segundo grado. Soy originaria de la Ciudad de México donde cursé la carrera de historia. Posteriormente me mudé a Denver, donde obtuve mi licenciatura en educación y mas tarde mi maestría en educación bilingüe y cultura diversa. La escuela Gust ha sido mi segunda casa y le tengo un gran cariño. Lo que más me gusta de trabajar en Gust es todo el personal, pero sobre todo, los estudiantes que veo crecer académicamente. Mi familia consta de mi esposo y tres hijos. Mis pasatiempos favoritos son la lectura y también viajar cada vez que puedo.
Hello! I am the first-grade Spanish teacher Tejeda. I have been at Gust for over 20 years in paraprofessional positions, as a first and second-grade teacher.
I am originally from Mexico City where I studied history. I later moved to Denver, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in education and my master’s in bilingual education and cultural diversity. Gust Elementary has been my second home and I am very fond of it. What I like most about working at Gust is all the staff, but above all, the students I see grow academically. My family consists of my husband and three children. My favorite hobbies are reading and also traveling whenever I can.
